Members of the SVS Community,
Attendance, participation and professionalism is vital for a board to function effectively as a leadership team. Sacramento Valley Spark (SVS) needs directors to attend meetings regularly and if they don’t the tasks that the director was counted on to complete either takes longer than necessary and/or may even not get done at all which would negatively impact the ability of SVS to be a viable nonprofit organization.
As of March 23, 2018, the director seats previously held by Anthony Genovese and Cristina Canty were vacated according to ARTICLE V. BOARD OF DIRECTORS, Section 9. Attendance of the SVS Bylaws. Regular attendance at meetings are required and necessary to remain an asset to Sacramento Valley Spark. We appreciate both of their time and service and look forward to their continued participation as volunteers.
