Save the date! Our next MOOP Your City event will be Saturday, April 24th – Earth Day weekend! We want to make an even bigger impact this year and will plan these trash pick-up days quarterly. We are looking for volunteers to be team captains in different areas. Current brainstorms are Sacramento, Auburn, Rancho Cordova, Davis and Chico. (More are welcome – want to be a team captain for your area? Let us know!)Team captains will determine the area of most need and will be supported by SVS board members. We will supply loanable materials and some that will be available for purchase (i.e. Moop Sticks) We will be recognizing teams based on a few things – end weight of trash gathered. (team Captain will bring a scale), before and after photos, and team spirit (you know what to do). We will also have a live DJ set for anyone, anywhere to listen to!!
